Unaltered raw diamonds are set in vintage filigree inspired earring settings of sterling silver. Each raw, uncut, rough diamond is unique and exactly the way it was found in nature. The raw diamonds each measure approximately 3.5 - 4 mm in diameter and each weigh approximately 1/2 carat (total weight of approximately 1 carat for the pair of earrings). The overall size of each earring is approximately 5 - 5.5 mm in diameter. These post style diamond earrings come with sterling silver butterfly style push on backs.

The last photo in this listing is provided as a visual reference for how this style earrings will look when worn.

Old European Cut Diamond Earrings, Bezel Set Milgain Beaded Diamond Rub Over Set Earrings in Modern 18 Carat Palladium, EGL Certified.

Beautiful pair of bezel set old European cut diamond stud earrings. These earrings are beautiful! Each diamond has been certified by EGL. They were originally set in Victorian settings which had simply worn out so we've bezel set them into modern nickel-free 18 carat white gold settings lined in milgrain beading.

Each of the diamonds is an old European cut, cut in the early 1900s, and displays a small table - the top part of the stone, steep crown - the slope up from the outer edge of the diamond to the table, and an open culet - the flat facet on the bottom of the diamond.

Diamond one: 4.47 - 4.29 mm x 2.93 mm, 0.36 carats. E colour, SI1 clarity, table = 56%, depth = 66.9%.
Diamond two: 4.47 - 4.42 mm x 2.43 mm, 0.31 carats. F colour, SI3 clarity, table = 59%, depth = 54.7%
Total carat weight: 0.67 carats.

Hallmarked as 18 carat gold. These modern settings are 18 carat white gold with an alloy of palladium. They are nickel-free.

Measure approx 5.35 mm wide and rise approx 4.4 mm tall off the ear.

Weigh 1.7 grams.
