22kt solid yellow gold - rose cut diamond post back- stud earrings-pre Columbian inspired-one of a kind

Every piece is delicately handcrafted, we don't mass produce our jewelry or buy wholesale from any source. What you see in the pictures is what you'll get, one of a kind pieces that won't be duplicated. The price sure reflects the quality and craftsmanship.

Growing up in Colombia I was fascinated by pre-Colombian art and specially pre-Colombian jewelry, and these studs though simple have been inspired by that Era. Back in the day tribes all over South America expressed their creativity in many ways taking advantage of all their resources without even knowing the value of gold.
Once we a diamond is selected, a hot wax mold is created for that specific diamond. No diamond is alike, since nature doesn't repeat itself making this a little bit more challenging, but that much more unique.

Dress them up or down, such a versatile piece of jewelry. The right amount of dazzle for every day wear. You won't find anyone else wearing these, be original wear original wearable art!

Why do people choose something handmade? Some of us prefer the quality of handmade goods to cheap, manufactured alternatives, and see buying handmade as a way of quietly (or perhaps loudly) protesting mass produced goods. Or perhaps it's the originality and authenticity found in handmade goods, besides all these when you buy a handcrafted piece from me you are guaranteed to receive a piece that holds good energy and lot of heart and passion, and that spreads!

They say a diamond is forever, and they would be correct. Diamonds are the hardest and oldest known material on earth. Only a diamond can cut another diamond. Diamonds in their natural state may come in an array of shapes, colors and sizes. They are formed by extremely intense pressure and heat, over 100 miles beneath the earth’s surface. Why are diamonds so expensive? It takes approximately 100 to 200 tons of earth to be mined for a single one carat rough diamond. Whether you plan on wearing a diamond, proposing to a loved one, or even as a solid investment; a diamond is forever.

On January 1, 2003, the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme for international trade in rough diamonds was implemented. Our rough diamonds come from conflict-free sources, and we abide by all UN guidelines and guarantee all our diamonds as conflict-free. By purchasing natural earth mined diamonds, you actually help support a 6 billion dollar a year industry - which employees millions of people worldwide (from miners to retailers and jewelry artists alike.
