100% Solid Sterling Silver made by RingRingRing. This sterling silver cartilage ear cuff wrap earring is for men and women who love trees and Greek myth. The longest part of the ear cuff is approx. 7/8" (23 mm). Does not require pierced ears. This ear cuff can be worn on the right or left, either ear. However, it will be reversed on opposite ears. That is, if worn on both ears, it will not be mirror image. One side will be upside-down. (See the 3rd photo.)

APOLLO and DAPHNE, Greek myth:
On one occasion Eros became angry with Apollo for mocking the power of his arrows. As a way to punish him Eros hit Apollo with an arrow that caused him to fall desperately in love with Daphne. Apollo chased down Daphne in the woods, but she wanted nothing to do with him, and she ran from him endlessly.When Apollo was about to grasp Daphne she prayed to her father and was transformed into a laurel tree. Still in love with Daphne, Apollo declared that the leaves of the laurel tree would always be green and he would always wear a wreath of laurel leaves around his head. Since then the laurel has become a symbol of victory in Greek culture.
My handmade ear cuffs don't require any ear piercing. They wrap around the edge of the ear and rest just above the earlobe. Since they do not pierce or penetrate the body, there is less concern about allergic reactions.
All you have to do is slide it on.
Start at the top of the ear and slide downward as you turn it in over the cartilage. Then adjust to rest on the cartilage just above the earlobe. All of our ear cuffs have a gap of approximately 3.5mm. This mostly fits the average ear. To test the fit, try it on, and pull it sideways. A good fit will not slip off too easily. If the fit is poor, adjustment may be made by squeezing the gap closer, or widening it about 0.5mm, it is (1/32 inch).

I love this cuff! Daphne and Apollo is for some reason one of my favorite myths, and I've enjoyed wearing something that reminds me of it. I've had a lot of people compliment/ask me about it. It fit snugly on my ear without having to adjust it and I'm not worried about it slipping off.
